Hi Ilana and Alex,

I hope you are having a great time. It's getting cold here. I am also helping Nellie in her wheelchair and stuff. I really miss you. I wish I could down there with you. My front tooth fell out. I hope you are having a great time,

Hi Ilana,

It's Nellie. It's really cold here. And it's going to get even colder in the single digits! It must be nice and hot down there. Zuzu really misses you. Where did you send Bear?

Alex, we had the geography bee and none of the 4th graders won. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are doing Lego Theatre and we're having so much fun-- but we REALLY miss you, though.

Hope you all have a great time, Nellie

Hi Ilana,
Every day we come to school and read your blog. It sounds like you are having fun and eating very interesting food!
On Friday, we had our 1st Annual Walk-A-Thon around Chatham. We walked 1.7 miles. It was fun. On Sunday, a few of us went to City Tavern for lunch. We tried to see Geordie and Will, but they were not there. We wish you were there, but seem like you are having more fun in China!
Will wants to know what the temperature and weather is like in China? Has it rained more? Have you picked up any of the language? Can you read any of the signs?
Keep writing!

Wow!! You are making me hungry. When you come home bring take out. I'll have bok choy dumpling and moo goo gai pan. I keep reading and reading your blog. I love it.
Home News:
Missy the cat keeps looking around for her regular family, but she does let me pet her once in a while. (for 3 seconds.)
Sammy the turtle is very hungry. He's eating grapes, lettuce, apple and raw beef.
To Alex: Grandpop cleaned your room. Ha Ha!!
Do you get to talk to any Chinese kids? If so do you use sign language or what? We love you all. Grandmom Barbara

Ms. Shamian the cake looked great and the icing tasted good, but I didn't like the cake part so much. It was a double decker cake and before they put the second layer on they put a pineapple cut into pieces on it. I didn't like it, but my parents did.
