I’ve arrived

I’ve arrived in China.  On the plane trip we passed the North Pole and it was all cracked ice and it looked really cool.  It took us nineteen hours to get here. We had five meals and snacks on the plane, yuck I hate airplane meals like frozen noodles.  Now we’re here and our hotel is sweet. The city looks exactly the same as in Philidelphia. It has construction work, many buildings and many people.  Our hotel has an indoor pool and many stores inside it.  I have to go eat breakfast now and I’m starving for a good breakfast (Or dinner, that’s what time it would be in Havertown).  It is 7:00 in the morning right now.  It is a twelve hour difference between China and Pennsylvania.

    Ilana,

Sasha, Michael and I thought about you, Alex, Ed and Nicola on the airplane yesterday and wondered what it would be like to travel around the world so many feet above earth. I didn’t realize your route would take you by the north pole. What a great description.

I imagine it will take you some time to adjust to the time change. So, what do the Chinese serve for breakfast?

Hi aunt Andrea thank you for thinking about us here. It has been hard getting used to the time. We are all usually up for some of the night. We don’t know what they have for breakfast because we’ve only ate at the hotel were they serve normal breakfast for us.
